Fuji Bakery

A short walk from Kinokuniya bookstore is Fuji Bakery, their second location; their original location and where they make all the goodies is in Bellevue. I love matcha anything so to have found a bakery in Seattle that incorporates this ingredient into their pastries was pleasantly surprising, but then to have tried a dense chunk of french toast baguette soaked in maple syrup (which only cost $1.50) on a Saturday morning in their Bellevue shop moved them quickly into my heart, even if we can’t go in as much as we’d like to. Painful self control.
