Bellevue Part II: Bellevue Botanical Garden

In addition to the Bellevue Downtown Park, if you’re looking for something to do in Bellevue, I’d like to suggest the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Our favorite part by far is the Yao Japanese Garden. Grab a few pastries from Fuji Bakery on the way and enjoy your treats and a little Kyoto-like serenity within the wooden gates. The Botanical Garden is fairly small but there’s some beauty to be found there. Another good thing about this place is that unlike the lovely Seattle Japanese Garden not far from our neighborhood, the admission to the Bellevue Botanical Garden is free.
