Friday the 13th

Yesterday as I sat near the living room window, I saw a strong glow of pink and purple making its way through our white blinds into the living room. I peeked outside to see the most sublime sky and an interesting pattern of clouds with hues of orange, yellow, purple, and pink.

In January and February when the trees are completely bare, and the days are mostly one shade of boring, endless gray, nights like yesterday are especially appreciated.

We weren’t the only ones that shot the beautiful skies.
