The last time we ate a Russ and Daughters lox and bagel was on a cold and wet winter day in New York. We had to keep putting our gloves back on since our finger tips were getting frozen as we ate our bagel on their green bench. Years later we found ourselves on the same bench on another cold and wet day enjoying our bagel. I guess it’s becoming a tradition of sorts. We ordered the most affordable mini lox and bagel off their menu. But we did splurge a bit on a loaf of cinnamon babka which we brought back to Seattle and ate for breakfast almost every day last week. Seattle really needs more places like this.
